Surrogates

Darkly humorous and deeply unsettling, Surrogates is an urgent and vital exploration of artificial intelligence's impact on humanity and the social, political, and ethical issues that underpin this new technology.

Surrogates Poster

2053. Surrogates—AI replicas of humans so convincing they are indistinguishable from us—have become as commonplace as electric cars.

When a botched assassination causes widespread political unrest to erupt, a ragtag band of rebels, revolutionary vanguard party, and group of mums on a school run reveal that the true horror of AI lies in the human hand that wields it.
